How To Authorize Music from iTunes to Play on Other Computers

iTunes is a program developed by Apple to play music, videos and other applications on your computer. You can download and install it on your computer, and synchronize your iPod with. If you want to play these songs on other computers, there is a way to authorize the music from iTunes to play on other computers.
However, only five computer authorizations are allowed by iTunes. Here are some tips on how to authorize music from iTunes to play on other computers.
  • On your other computer, download the iTunes software. After the download install the software in your second computer. Visit Apple at apple.com/itunesand you should see the iTunes page download.
  • After the installation, double click the iTunes icon on your computer. You can see the icon on the desktop by clicking the "Start" menu. The music library of this newly installed iTunes will be empty because you have just installed it.
  • Log into your iTunes account on the target computer. Click the tab "Store" and open "Sign in" to log in to your account. The Apple ID and password that the iTunes wants is the same as the ID and password on your first computer.
  • Click the tab "Store" again and open "Authorize Computer" to authorize this computer to play your iTunes music.The iTunes will prompt you again for your Apple ID and password. Enter the correct information and you will see a message box with "Machine Authorization was Successful" as confirmation that the authorization is finished.
  • If the authorization step prompts you that you have reached the maximum number of authorization, confirm that your authorizations are not maxed out. If you wantauthorize only the two computers that you have, unauthorized other computers that you don't want and reauthorize the two computers that you have.
  • Now that the two computers are authorized to open your music, transfer the songs from your first computer to the second computer. Back up the iTunes music for you to be able to use it on the other computer.
